The second quarter of 2024 saw significant activity in the hack and slash category on the Android platform in Brazil. Here's a detailed look at the top five performing apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Solo Leveling:Arise, published by Netmarble, showed an initial surge in downloads with 814K in the first week of May. However, this number gradually declined to 10K by the end of June. Revenue mirrored this trend, peaking at around $58K in mid-May and tapering off to $13K by the last week of June. Weekly active users (WAU) remained relatively stable, starting at 790K and finishing at 713K.
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, from nebulajoy, experienced a peak in downloads of about 8K in mid-May, before settling around 6K in late June. The revenue trend saw a steady decline from $4K at the beginning of April to $1.5K at the end of June. WAU remained steady throughout the quarter, fluctuating slightly around the 60K mark.
Otherworld Legends by ChillyRoom saw a spike in downloads to 10K in mid-May, before declining to around 4K by the end of June. Revenue saw a peak of approximately $1K in mid-May, followed by a gradual decrease to $415 by the end of June. WAU increased notably from 8.4K at the start of April to 14.6K in mid-May, before stabilizing around 9.3K in late June.
Ronin: The Last Samurai, published by Dreamotion Inc., had variable download numbers, peaking at 5.9K in late May and settling at around 4.4K by the end of June. Revenue saw a consistent decline from $285 at the start of April to just $76 by the end of June. WAU started at 29K in early April and ended at around 20K by late June.
MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble experienced a significant peak in revenue of $24K at the end of April, before declining to $8.5K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at 9K in late April and then gradually decreased to 3.6K by the end of June. WAU saw a steady increase, peaking at 87.5K in late May, before slightly decreasing to 78.8K by the end of June.
