In the second quarter of 2024, the hack and slash genre on Android in Turkey saw some notable performances. Here's a closer look at the top 5 applications in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Solo Leveling:Arise experienced a significant launch with an impressive 160K downloads in its first week. However, downloads declined to around 1.8K by the end of June. Weekly revenue also saw a peak at $11.8K in early May, tapering off to approximately $2K by the end of the quarter. Despite the drop in downloads and revenue, weekly active users remained relatively steady, starting at 155K and ending at 119K.
Ertugrul Gazi 2 maintained a consistent performance in Q2 2024. Weekly downloads hovered around the 1.3K mark, while active users ranged from 1.8K to 2.3K. Notably, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.
MARVEL Future Fight from Netmarble showed a stable pattern with weekly downloads starting at 1K and peaking at 1.8K. Revenue saw a significant spike to $9.6K in early May but settled to around $2K by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated between 40K and 50K, maintaining a loyal player base throughout the quarter.
Ninja Ryuko: Shadow Ninja Game had a modest but steady performance with downloads increasing from 414 in early April to 654 by the end of June. Although revenue was negligible, weekly active users grew from 1.2K to 749, indicating a growing interest in the game.
Ronin: The Last Samurai saw varied activity with downloads peaking at 1.8K in early April and then dropping off. Revenue was low, peaking at $394 in early April and reducing to $65 by the end of June. Weekly active users started at 8.3K but gradually declined to 4.8K.
