In Q2 2024, the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre saw notable activity in the Czech Republic on the Android platform. This report, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of the top 5 MOBA apps: Brawl Stars, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Squad Busters, and Honor of Kings.
Brawl Stars from Supercell consistently generated substantial weekly revenue, peaking at around $172K by the end of June. Downloads were highest in mid-April, reaching approximately 9.9K, but saw a downward trend towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users fluctuated but remained robust, with a peak of 729K in late April before settling around 657K by the end of June.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang demonstrated varied revenue, peaking at $8.2K in mid-April and experiencing fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively low, averaging around 350 per week. The app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, hovering around 10.1K to 11.3K.
League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games saw a notable increase in revenue early in the quarter, with a peak at $5.5K in late April. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 350 per week, and weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 2.8K mark.
Squad Busters, also from Supercell, had a significant debut with revenue peaking at $9.9K in early June. Downloads surged to 27.4K in late May, maintaining a strong presence with weekly active users peaking at 18.6K in the same period.
Honor of Kings from Level Infinite showed gradual growth in revenue, reaching around $193 by the end of June. Downloads spiked to 582 in mid-June, and weekly active users saw a significant increase, peaking at 892 by the end of the quarter.
