Exploring the performance of top personal finance applications on Android for Q2 2024 in the US, we've observed interesting trends based on Sensor Tower's data.
Tricount - Split group bills saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at $174K in early April and ending at a high of $168K in late June. Downloads spiked in late May, reaching 2K, with weekly active users hitting a peak of 7.4K the same week.
Splitwise experienced a varied revenue trend, starting the quarter with $242K and reaching its highest at $249K in early June. Downloads showed a similar variable trend, with a peak of 2M in late April. Weekly active users ranged from 3.8M at the start of April to 4K by the end of June.
Money manager & expenses also demonstrated a wavering revenue trend, from $177K to $148K. Downloads dropped to 597K in mid-June but recovered to 934K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a strong active user base, starting with 22.3M and ending at 19.1M.
Fast Budget - Expense Manager had an inconsistent revenue performance, peaking at $224K in early April and dipping to $99K in early June. The app's downloads were highest at the start of the quarter with 628K but saw a notable increase to 331K in the last week. Weekly active users saw a slight increase from 2.9M to 2.4M over the quarter.
Settle Up – Group Expenses showed a modest revenue stream, beginning at $55K and reaching $123K in mid-June. Downloads saw a peak of 401K in late April, while weekly active users showed growth from 754K to 881K, suggesting a steady engagement with the app.
