As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has provided us with data on the performance of pirate-themed games on Android in the US. Let's hoist the sails and dive into the numbers for the top five pirate games during this period.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War from FunPlus International AG saw a trend of decreasing revenue from $1.2M at the start of April to $488K by the end of June. Downloads also dipped from 341K in the first week to 157K in the last week. However, weekly active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 2.5M and climbing to 2.7M.
Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW, developed by JOYCITY Corp., exhibited fluctuations in revenue with a peak of $537K in May before settling at $379K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively low, with a slight increase from 6K to 14K over the quarter. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 30-37K throughout the quarter.
Pirate Kings™️ by Playtika showed a mixed trend with revenue starting at zero, peaking at $90K, and then dropping to $40K. The game had no new downloads recorded during the quarter, and there was no data on weekly active users.
Pirate Ships・Build and Fight from HeroCraft Ltd. saw its revenue peak at $46K in April and then drop to zero for the remainder of the quarter. Downloads started at 22K and saw a slight increase to 15K by the end of June. The game's weekly active users showed a slight decline from 75K to 67K.
Lastly, Roger That: Merge Adventure! by BELKA GAMES had no revenue for most of the quarter, with a spike to $40K in the last week. Downloads began at 40K, dropped to zero mid-quarter, but did not record new downloads by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a decreasing trend from 118K to 91K.
