In Q2 2024, the pirate game category on Android saw interesting shifts in user engagement and downloads. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look into the performance of the top five pirate-themed games during this period.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, published by FunPlus International AG, experienced a gradual decrease in weekly revenue, starting at around $7.8K and dipping to nearly $5.5K. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, dropping from 1K to 385. Weekly active users also saw a decline from 3.1K to 2.6K.
SayGames Ltd's Pirate Raid - Caribbean Battle witnessed a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a notable peak of $79 in the last week of June. Downloads peaked mid-quarter with over 600, then fell to 181. Active users saw a significant spike in May, reaching 748, but eventually tapered off to 353 by the end of the quarter.
JOYCITY Corp.'s Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW showed varied revenue, peaking at $2.4K twice during the period. Downloads reached a high of 789 in the third week of April but otherwise remained low. Active users peaked at 595, also in April, before stabilizing around the mid-150s.
Atlas Studio Co., Ltd.'s Lord of Seas: Survival&Conquer had no revenue to report at the start of the quarter, but saw a dramatic increase to $1.6K in mid-June before dropping to $560. Downloads and active users both experienced their peak in late May, reaching 251 and 177 respectively.
Lastly, Go Go Magnet! from Oh BiBi showed consistent revenue growth, starting at $322 and reaching $480 in early June. Downloads saw a significant boost in late May and early June, with weekly active users following a similar trend.
