The second quarter of 2024 saw varied performance trends among the top 5 travel and local apps on the Android platform in Turkey. Below, we dive into the download, active user, and revenue metrics for these leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Throughout Q2 2024, obilet: Otel Uçak Otobüs Araç experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 70.9K in mid-June. The app's active user base also showed a positive trend, starting at approximately 634K in early April and reaching around 669K by mid-June.
Museums of Türkiye saw a significant spike in downloads at the beginning of April, hitting 107.5K. Active users mirrored this trend, with a peak of 143K in the same period. The app maintained a relatively stable performance throughout the quarter, ending with 45.1K downloads and 81.4K active users in the last week of June.
For MARTI: TAG & Scooter, downloads were fairly consistent, with a slight peak in early April at 49.9K. Active users showed a stable upward trend, growing from 170K in early April to 200K by mid-June.
ENUYGUN: Uçak Otel Otobüs Araç experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 46.6K in mid-June. Active user numbers also saw a positive trend, starting at around 294K in early April and reaching approximately 317K by mid-June.
TikTak had a notably strong performance in mid-May with 36.2K downloads. The app's active user base showed significant growth, starting at 37.5K in early April and reaching 64K by mid-June.
