As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, we've taken a dive into the performance of the top five virtual fitness programs on Android in the United Kingdom. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a snapshot of the engagement and popularity of these apps among users.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run experienced a revenue peak in late May with $37K, though downloads showed a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter, dipping to 11K. Weekly active users peaked at 118K in early June, demonstrating a strong user base for outdoor activity tracking.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike had a notable spike in revenue during the week of May 20th, reaching $85K. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight uptick in late June to just over 10K. The app's weekly active users saw a high in late May at 477K, indicating a solid and engaged audience.
Step Counter - Pedometer showed no revenue until the very end of the quarter when it generated a modest $32. However, downloads saw a significant rise in early June, reaching over 10K. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at nearly 39K in mid-June.
Google Fit: Activity Tracking maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with a noticeable increase to 11K downloads in mid-June. The app's active users saw a peak at 238K in late May, indicating a steady interest in Google's fitness tracking offering.
Glory Fit saw downloads fluctuate, with a drop to 7K towards the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 125K in early June.
