In Q2 2024, the top 5 co-op games on the iOS platform in the United States showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Squad Busters, published by Supercell, saw a significant initial surge following its late May release. Downloads peaked at around 3.8M in the first week, dropping to approximately 146K by the last week of June. Revenue started strong at $2.6M but gradually tapered off to about $1M. Weekly active users also decreased from 2.8M to 891K over the same period.
Roblox from Roblox Corporation continued its strong performance with revenue peaking at about $13M in the week of June 10. Downloads grew steadily, reaching approximately 430K in the last week of June. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, increasing from 14M to 15.3M throughout the quarter.
Brawl Stars, another title by Supercell, experienced a revenue peak of approximately $4.8M in late April, stabilizing around $3.9M by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 456K in early May before settling at 258K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable around 5.8M to 6M.
MONOPOLY GO! by Scopely, Inc. had an impressive revenue performance, peaking at around $26M at the start of Q2, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at about $18.7M. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight increase from 282K to 287K. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 1.1M to 816K.
Township, published by Playrix, maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at approximately $3.4M in mid-June. Downloads were fairly stable, with minor fluctuations, ending at around 177K. Weekly active users also showed consistency, hovering around the 500K mark throughout the quarter.
