The second quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends among the top five insurance apps on iOS in Ireland. Here's a closer look at how these apps performed in terms of downloads.
Vhi maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at 1.2K downloads in early April, the app saw a slight dip mid-month but quickly recovered, ending June with approximately 1.2K downloads per week.
Laya App experienced moderate fluctuations in its download numbers. Beginning April with around 660 downloads, it witnessed a dip to 423 in early May before climbing back to 619 by mid-June, ultimately closing the quarter at 558 downloads.
The Irish Life Health Members app saw a steady rise in downloads over the quarter. Starting at 423 downloads in early April, it ended June with a peak of 503 downloads, indicating a positive trend.
DeCare showed a remarkable upward trend in downloads. Beginning April with 135 downloads, the app consistently grew, reaching a high of 301 downloads by the end of June.
MyAllianz MY had a more varied performance. Starting April with 82 downloads, the app experienced fluctuations throughout the quarter, peaking at 144 in mid-April and ending June with 120 downloads.
