State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 insurance apps on iOS in Nigeria demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a breakdown of their performance metrics:
MyAXA Plus saw a fluctuating but overall positive trend in weekly downloads. Starting with 545 downloads in the first week of April, it peaked at 1.5K in the first week of June. By the end of June, the app had 943 downloads.
SimpleLife by Heirs also experienced growth, beginning the quarter with 431 downloads and reaching its highest point with 1.4K downloads in the first week of June. The quarter closed with 903 downloads in the last week of June.
Sanlam Nigeria App, launched at the end of May, showed significant initial traction. It started with 948 downloads in its debut week and peaked at 1.6K in the first week of June. The app maintained over 900 downloads per week through the remainder of the month.
Reliance Care had a more stable download pattern, starting with 555 downloads in the first week of April. It experienced minor fluctuations and ended the quarter with 469 downloads.
Finally, Sanlam Nigeria showed a steady increase in downloads during the beginning of the quarter, starting with 501 downloads in the first week of April and peaking at 724 in the first week of May. The app saw a decline towards mid-May, ending with 428 downloads.
