Merge games continue to captivate mobile users, and the second quarter of 2024 has seen varying performances from the top apps in this genre on the iOS platform in the United States. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure by Magmatic Games Ltd showed a steady revenue trend with a peak of $1.5M in mid-June, although downloads dipped to 59K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users saw a high of 2.9M in late April, but eventually settled at 2.4M.
Microfun Limited's Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story experienced growth in revenue, reaching $1.3M in the final week of June. Downloads peaked at 208K in late May, while active users climbed to 918K during the same period, before decreasing slightly to 655K.
Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story, another title from Microfun Limited, saw its revenue fluctuate, with a notable increase to $521K in the last week of June. Downloads surged to 797K in the same week, and the game's weekly active users more than doubled from the start of the quarter, reaching 982K.
Metacore Games Oy's Merge Mansion had a modest revenue growth, with a peak of $526K by the quarter's end. The game, however, struggled with downloads, which were nearly non-existent in mid-quarter but slightly recovered to 4K. Active users showed resilience, ending the quarter at 513K.
Lastly, Merge Hotel Empire-Design Game from GreenPixel Ltd saw its revenue increase to $221K in late June. Downloads had a high of 99K in late April but saw a drop to 52K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users peaked at 321K in late May but experienced a slight decline to 278K.
