In the second quarter of 2024, the top MMORPG applications on the iOS platform in Europe showcased diverse performance trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a detailed look at how these apps fared:
Diablo Immortal, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, saw dynamic revenue fluctuations, peaking at approximately $352K in the week of June 10. Downloads for the game reached a high of 10.6K in late May, while weekly active users declined from 139K at the beginning of April to 116K by the end of June.
DOFUS Touch: A WAKFU Prequel by Ankama experienced a consistent decline in revenue, starting at $167K in early April and dropping to around $57K by the end of June. Downloads also saw a downward trend, from 8.5K in early April to 2.9K in late June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 28.7K and 24.4K throughout the quarter.
Shakes and Fidget: Idle RPG from Playa Games GmbH showed a significant spike in revenue, hitting approximately $78K in mid-June. However, downloads decreased steadily, from 2.5K in early April to 1.3K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 34K to 38K during the quarter.
NIGHT CROWS by Wemade Co., Ltd. had relatively modest revenue figures, peaking at $54K in early April and then stabilizing around $29K towards the end of June. Downloads saw a significant drop, from 1.4K in early April to just 267 by late June.
Old School RuneScape, developed by Jagex, maintained steady revenue, ranging between $19K and $26K throughout the quarter. Downloads were stable, fluctuating between 1.2K and 1.8K. Weekly active users remained consistent, around 10K to 11K.
