The second quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for MMORPGs on iOS in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into the performance of the top titles in this genre.
Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. showcased a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at around $34K in mid-June. Downloads saw an upward trend in late May, reaching over 1K, while weekly active users tapered off to 17K by the end of the quarter.
Jagex's Old School RuneScape remained stable in revenue, with notable peaks up to $17K. The game experienced a consistent download rate, hovering around 700-900 per week, and maintained a steady base of around 5.5K weekly active users.
Another Jagex title, RuneScape, had revenues oscillating between $3K and $7K. Downloads varied with a significant spike to 682 in late May, and weekly active users saw a slight increase to over 3K towards the end of June.
HongKong Miracle Network Limited's MU: Dragon Havoc showed modest revenue figures, peaking at just over $5K, with downloads fluctuating but reaching a high of 163 in mid-May. Unfortunately, data for weekly active users was not available.
NetEase Games' EVE Echoes saw revenues ranging from $2K to nearly $6K, with a dramatic spike in the latter part of June. Downloads were minimal, and weekly active users remained below 500 throughout the quarter.
