The second quarter of 2024 saw intriguing trends among the top 5 roguelike games on iOS in France. Here's a breakdown of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Legend of Mushroom from Joy Net Games experienced a notable decline in downloads, starting at 18.6K in early April and dropping to 1.4K by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar trend, beginning at approximately $156K and decreasing to around $69K. However, weekly active users showed a consistent increase, rising from 126K to 137K over the quarter.
Epic War: Make You Stronger by Genesis Network showed a steady revenue stream, peaking at about $8.9K in late April and fluctuating around $5.2K to $7.9K in June. Downloads saw a significant drop from 22.9K in early April to just over 300 by the end of June. The game maintained a stable base of weekly active users, averaging around 58K to 73K throughout the quarter.
Level Devil - NOT A Troll Game from Unept saw a decrease in downloads from 8.4K in early April to 3.7K by the end of June. Despite the drop in downloads, weekly active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 29.3K to 31.1K.
FAIRY TAIL: Fierce Fight by Skyline Games experienced a sharp decline in downloads, starting at 14K in early April and dropping to just over 200 by the end of June. Revenue also decreased significantly from $10.7K in early April to around $1.7K in late June. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 8.1K and 20.3K.
Hero Wars: Alliance from Nexters Global LTD showed strong revenue performance, peaking at approximately $62.7K in early June and ending the quarter at around $39.8K. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 2.5K in early April, peaking at 3.6K in mid-June, and ending at 2.9K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 13.7K to 16.6K.
