In Q2 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Belgium demonstrated varied performance across downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app on the unified platform.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, peaking at approximately 9.8K in the final week of June. The app experienced a consistent increase in weekly active users, starting at 163K in early April and reaching nearly 198K by the end of the quarter.
Bolt: Request a Ride saw a gradual rise in downloads, culminating in 8.1K in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed a similar positive trend, growing from 30K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 34K by the end.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a modest increase in downloads, with numbers rising to 1.8K in the final week of June. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, from 20K in early April to over 22K by the end of June.
Heetch - Ride-hailing app had fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 1.2K in the last week of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 4.6K to 4.8K throughout the quarter.
inDrive. Save on city rides showed an upward trend in downloads, ending the quarter with about 1.4K. The app's weekly active users also increased, starting at 4.2K in early April and reaching nearly 4.8K by the end of June.
