In the second quarter of 2024, the dinosaur gaming category saw varied performance across top apps in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower reveals trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for these prehistoric adventures.
Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc. experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at around $237K in late April and then settling to around $162K by the end of June. Downloads spiked to approximately 20K in late May, while weekly active users saw a rise to around 63K during the same period before ending the quarter with approximately 57K.
For Mecha Domination: Rampage, launched by BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO.,LIMITED, revenue saw an upward trend, reaching about $216K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at about 47K at the end of April, and weekly active users increased to over 55K in the last week of June.
Primal Conquest: Dino Era, from the same publisher, showed a revenue increase in April, reaching over $170K in early May before a slight decrease towards June. The game's downloads hit a high of around 68K in late April, while active users reached their peak at around 45K in the same month.
Jurassic World™: The Game, another offering by Jam City, Inc., saw consistent revenue around the $130K to $160K range throughout the quarter. Downloads reached nearly 19K in mid-June, and weekly active users had a high of approximately 89K in the third week of June.
Lastly, Ulala: Idle Adventure by X.D. Global showed a revenue high of around $117K in mid-April, with a noticeable dip to about $55K in late May. Downloads remained relatively low, peaking at just over 3K in late May. Weekly active users hovered between 50K and 56K throughout the quarter.
