In the second quarter of 2024, dragon-themed games continued to captivate mobile users on unified platforms. Sensor Tower's data offers a panoramic view of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Frost & Flame: King of Avalon saw a revenue uptrend peaking at nearly $4M in early May, later dipping to around $2.4M by the end of June. Downloads began at 305K, but experienced a downward trend, concluding the quarter at 37K. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting strong at 921K and winding down to 513K.
Merge Dragons! had a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a notable spike to over $3M mid-quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around the mid-200Ks throughout the period. Weekly active users started at 5.5M, dropped slightly in mid-quarter, but rebounded to above 5.4M by June's end.
Call of Dragons witnessed a mixed revenue trend, peaking at over $3M in early May. Downloads showed an overall increase, starting at 475K and closing the quarter at 480K. Weekly active users stayed above 3M, ending slightly higher than they began.
Dragonscapes Adventure displayed a revenue pattern with peaks and valleys, ending the quarter at around $2.2M. Downloads surged in May, peaking at 841K. The weekly active users count peaked at 5.3M in late May, then declined to 4.5M by the quarter's close.
Dragon City - Breed & Battle! showed an interesting revenue trend with a mid-quarter spike to $1.5M. Downloads varied, with a peak of 593K in early April. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at 19.2M and experiencing a mid-quarter dip before climbing back to nearly 18M.
