In the second quarter of 2024, the top five finance applications in Spain exhibited notable trends in downloads and active users on the unified platform. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at the market dynamics for these leading apps.
Revolut: Send, spend and save saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, starting at around 47K in early April and peaking at approximately 63.6K by the end of June. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, ranging from about 539K to 581K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.
Santander experienced a varied download trend, beginning with 39.6K downloads in the first week of April and closing the quarter with 34.3K downloads. Active users for Santander were consistently high, fluctuating between 1.57M and 1.69M throughout the quarter.
imagin: More than mobile bank showed a strong performance in weekly downloads, increasing from around 32.3K in early April to a peak of 42K by the last week of June. The app's active user base also displayed a positive trend, growing from approximately 1.83M to a peak of 2.01M over the quarter.
BBVA Spain | Online banking maintained a steady download rate, starting at 32.6K and seeing a peak of 40.7K downloads in mid-June. The active user count for BBVA was robust, ranging from about 3.06M to 3.22M, with noticeable growth towards the end of the quarter.
CaixaBankNow observed a consistent download pattern, beginning at 28.3K and reaching 36.4K in mid-June. Active users for CaixaBankNow remained strong, with numbers fluctuating between 3.61M and 3.91M, showing an upward trend towards the quarter's end.
