In the second quarter of 2024, five prominent food and diet tracking applications demonstrated varying degrees of user engagement across Latin America. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers valuable insights into the region's app usage trends.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter saw a fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at nearly $36K and dipping to around $28K. Downloads for the app ranged between 17K and 27K, while weekly active users hovered between 692K and 782K, showcasing a resilient user base.
Nutrition Technologies' Fitia: Diet & Meal Planner also experienced revenue variances, with figures oscillating between $26K and $36K. The app's downloads saw a decline from 70K to around 45K, and weekly active users showed a slight contraction from 211K to 187K.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet maintained a solid revenue stream, with weekly figures ranging from $23K to $33K. Downloads saw peaks and troughs, with a high of 61K and a low of 31K. The app's active users showed growth, starting at 737K and reaching up to 879K by the end of the quarter.
Kompanion Intermittent Fasting, while smaller in revenue, ranging from $9K to $16K, also witnessed a decrease in downloads from 12K to around 11K. However, weekly active users remained fairly stable, with a slight increase from 224K to 223K.
Lastly, BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting showed modest revenue between $9K and $14K. Download numbers were consistent, with a minor decrease from 15K to around 12K, and weekly active users experienced a slight drop from 52K to 42K.
