State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In Turkey, the second quarter of 2024 saw significant activity in the food and diet tracking app category, with the top five apps performing notably in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on Sensor Tower data.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet experienced a robust increase in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads surged from approximately 4K in early April to over 10K by the end of June. Revenue peaked at around $8.6K towards the end of April, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at a solid $7K in the last week of June. Weekly active users climbed steadily, starting at 44.5K and reaching 63.2K by the end of the quarter.
Kompanion Intermittent Fasting also showed notable performance with downloads peaking at 13.4K in early May before stabilizing around 10.5K by the end of June. Revenue saw a peak in mid-April at $7K, with a gradual decline to $4.4K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained strong, starting at 114.2K and ending at 120.8K, indicating a stable user base.
Eato®: AI Calorie Counter showed a promising start despite being a new entrant. Downloads increased from 17 in early April to 928 by the end of June. Revenue followed a positive trend, starting at a modest $24 and peaking at $3.9K in mid-June. Weekly active users grew from 16 to 2.2K over the same period, reflecting a growing user engagement.
Intermittent Fasting Tracker ⋆ saw fluctuating performance with downloads peaking at 14.6K in mid-April and settling at 9.8K by the end of June. Revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at $1.6K in late April and ending at $1.2K in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed a steady trend, starting at 61.3K and rising to 70.3K by the end of the quarter.
Calorie Counter by FatSecret demonstrated strong growth in downloads, starting at 8.2K in early April and peaking at 17.1K by the end of the month, before stabilizing around 12.8K in late June. Revenue showed a steady climb, peaking at $1.3K in mid-June. Weekly active users started at 105.4K and grew to a peak of 133K in mid-April, ending strong at 131.9K by the end of June.
