In the second quarter of 2024, the food delivery service apps in the Netherlands showed varied performance across weekly downloads and active user metrics. Below, we provide a detailed overview of the top 5 applications based on Sensor Tower data.
The app saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 8.3K in early April and peaking at around 10K by late May. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, with a peak of around 272K in late April and ending the quarter at roughly 261K.
Weekly downloads for Picnic Online Supermarket hit a high of 10K mid-April, with a steady range between 7K and 9.5K for the rest of the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from about 146K in early April to approximately 162K by the end of June.
Too Good To Go experienced a peak in weekly downloads at around 10.5K in early April, followed by a gradual decline to about 6.3K by the end of June. Active user numbers started at approximately 406K, dipped to around 334K, and saw some fluctuation throughout the quarter.
Uber Eats showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.3K in early April and reaching a high of about 7.6K by late May. The app maintained a steady number of active users, fluctuating around 160K to 172K throughout the quarter.
Flink's weekly downloads varied, with a peak of about 4.7K in late April and a low of around 2.9K in early April. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 75K to 85K for most of the quarter.
