In Q2 2024, the food delivery sector witnessed varying trends across the top 5 services. According to Sensor Tower data, here is a snapshot of their performance on a unified platform:
Glovo: Food Delivery and more saw its downloads fluctuate, starting at 9K, dipping to 7K, and then peaking at 11K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users began at 211K, with a slight dip and recovery, finishing strong at 233K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced an initial surge in downloads from 8K to 11K, but this trend reversed to settle at 8K. Active users started at 182K, peaked at 185K, and closed the quarter at 161K.
Bolt Food witnessed a download count that ranged from 6K to 8K, ending the quarter at 6K. Its active users saw a consistent pattern starting at 65K, peaking at 71K, and ending slightly lower at 65K.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery downloads varied from 5K to 7K, with the final week reaching 7K. The app's weekly active users showed more variation, beginning at 358K, peaking at 383K, and ending at 365K.
Just Eat - Food Delivery had the lowest numbers, with downloads lingering around the 600 mark and concluding the quarter at 543. Active users remained within the 4K to 5K range throughout the quarter.
