Sensor Tower's latest data provides an overview of the food delivery service apps' performance in the United States during the second quarter of 2024. Here's how the top contenders fared on the unified platform, which includes both iOS and Android data.
Glovo: Food Delivery and more saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 11K in the first week of April and peaking at nearly 15K towards the end of the same month. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, with numbers climbing from 193K to a high of 227K in the third week of April.
Bolt Food experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a standout week in early May reaching over 14K downloads, while weekly active users peaked in late May at 77K, showing a general growth in user engagement throughout the quarter.
Just Eat - Food Delivery had more modest download numbers, maintaining around 1K to 1.2K downloads per week, with a slight uptick at the end of May. The app's weekly active users remained relatively steady, hovering around the 22K mark throughout the quarter.
Sezamo, while having a smaller user base, showed a decrease in weekly downloads from 1.8K in the first week of April to 806 by the end of June. Active user data for Sezamo was not provided for this period.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a steady download rate, with a slight increase from 839 downloads in the first week of April to 970 by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a slight decline, starting at 13.3K and decreasing to 12.4K by the end of the quarter.
