In the second quarter of 2024, the performance of the top gacha games in Austria revealed interesting trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers a glimpse into the dynamics of the gacha gaming market.
Last War:Survival from FirstFun saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $154K in mid-June, following a steady climb from early April. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 3.7K and ending at 4.3K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 15.7K to 21.6K.
Whiteout Survival by Century Games Pte. Ltd. experienced a consistent increase in revenue, peaking at around $123K in early June. Downloads showed a gradual upward trend, beginning at 3.1K and reaching 4.3K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also grew steadily, from 14.1K to 17.9K.
Solo Leveling:Arise from Netmarble Corporation, which launched in early May, recorded its highest revenue in its first week at approximately $33K. However, revenue declined to around $11.5K by the end of June. Downloads followed a similar trend, starting strong at 16.8K but dropping significantly to 682. Weekly active users showed some fluctuation, starting at 16.3K and ending at 16.7K.
Wuthering Waves by KURO GAMES, launched in late May, initially saw a revenue peak of $36.8K in early June. Downloads started at 14.6K but dropped sharply to 435 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 13.9K to 4.9K.
8 Ball Pool™ from Miniclip.com maintained relatively steady revenue, with a slight peak of around $6.4K in early April. Downloads remained consistent, starting at 1.9K and ending at 1.8K. Weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, staying around 34K to 39K throughout the quarter.
