The second quarter of 2024 saw dynamic performances from the top 5 Gacha games in Switzerland on a unified platform. Here’s a detailed look at their trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Last War:Survival by FirstFun experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $137K in early April and peaking at $270K in mid-June. Downloads began strong with 3.8K in the first week of April, hitting a high of 6.7K in late April, but saw a decline to 3.4K by the end of June. Weekly active users grew steadily from 14.3K to a peak of 19.3K in mid-May before stabilizing around 18.5K by the end of the quarter.
Whiteout Survival from Century Games Pte. Ltd. showed a strong revenue performance, starting at $199K and increasing to $275K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 3K to 4.2K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a gradual rise from 16.1K to 20.1K, indicating sustained player engagement.
8 Ball Pool™ by Miniclip.com showed a modest revenue trend, peaking at $11.4K in late April and then fluctuating between $4.5K to $6.6K towards the end of June. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 1.3K to 1.7K per week. The game maintained a robust weekly active user base, starting at 41.4K and slightly declining to 35.9K by the end of the quarter.
Wuthering Waves by KURO GAMES, despite being a newer entry, showed promising revenue growth from $37.6K in its launch week to $42.2K in early June. Downloads saw a sharp drop from 12.3K in the launch week to 478 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 11.8K to 4.7K.
Solo Leveling:Arise by Netmarble Corporation, launched in early May, started with a revenue of $61.4K, peaking at $70.4K in mid-May, but then declined to $23.4K by the end of June. Downloads also saw a steep decline from 14.2K in the launch week to just 818 by the end of the quarter. However, weekly active users showed a slight increase from 13.8K to 15.5K, indicating a dedicated player base.
