In Q2 2024, the top 5 MMORPG apps in Costa Rica exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at their performance on a unified platform:
Albion Online experienced notable fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at 1.4K in late April, with a steady decline to 442 by the end of June. Revenue saw a high of $512 in late April, followed by a drop to $191 in mid-June, and a slight recovery to $265 by the end of the month. Weekly active users also showed a peak of 1.5K in late April, declining to 746 by the end of June.
The Legend of Neverland had a relatively stable quarter. Downloads fluctuated between 105 and 266, with a slight increase towards the end of June at 214. Revenue peaked at $319 in early May but generally hovered around $145 to $258. Weekly active users ranged from 448 to 659, ending the quarter at 563.
Diablo Immortal showed a strong performance in revenue, peaking at $1042 in mid-June. Downloads saw a gradual increase from 89 to 240 by early June, before stabilizing around 136 by the end of the month. Weekly active users remained high, ranging from 1020 to 1318, ending the quarter at 1104.
Master Ball, despite being a newer entrant, showed steady growth. Downloads ranged from 77 to 187, with a notable peak of 139 in early June. Revenue saw modest figures, peaking at $51 in mid-June. Weekly active users consistently grew, peaking at 325 in early June before slightly declining to 276 by the end of the month.
Dino Tamers - Jurassic MMO had a more modest performance. Downloads ranged from 75 to 149, with a slight peak in late April. Revenue remained low, peaking at $12 in late April. Weekly active users fluctuated between 170 and 247, ending the quarter at 190.
