During Q2 2024, the MMORPG market in France witnessed varied performance among the top five apps on a unified platform. Below, we delve into the download numbers, revenue, and weekly active user trends for these popular titles.
DOFUS Touch: A WAKFU Prequel saw a significant fluctuation in its weekly revenue, starting at around $213K in early April and gradually decreasing to approximately $88K by the end of June. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, beginning the quarter with 16K and dropping to around 5K. Weekly active users also declined from 58K to 47K over the same period.
Albion Online experienced a varied revenue stream, peaking at $13.8K in early May before stabilizing around $6.8K by the end of June. Download numbers were higher early in the quarter, with a peak of 8.4K in late April, and then steadily decreased to 2.7K. Weekly active users increased from 7.6K at the start of April to a peak of 13.8K in late April, before tapering off to 8.2K by the end of June.
Tarisland, a newcomer released in late June, generated $25K in its first week. Downloads were impressive, starting at 28K and then slightly decreasing to 19K. Active users were 21K in the first week and dropped to 11K by the end of June.
Diablo Immortal maintained a relatively stable revenue, with a notable increase to $56K in early June before settling at around $33K by the end of the month. Downloads were modest, fluctuating between 1K and 5K. Weekly active users remained consistent, hovering around 25K to 28K throughout the quarter.
The Legend of Neverland had a fairly steady revenue stream, peaking at $12.8K in early June and then dropping to $6.3K by the end of the month. Downloads were low, staying below 3K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 12K.
