In the second quarter of 2024, the personal finance app landscape has seen varied performance trends across top applications on the unified platform, according to data provided by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Splitwise maintained a steady download rate, peaking at nearly 500K in late April and showing a slight drop towards the end of June with 433K downloads. Revenue trends for Splitwise displayed a gradual decrease from 366K USD in early April to 206K USD by late June. Weekly active users started strong at 2.5M in mid-April but saw a slight decline to approximately 2.4M by the end of the quarter.

Money Manager Expense & Budget experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a notable spike to over 700K in mid-May. Revenue saw a sharp drop from 195K USD in early April to 18K USD later in the month, but somewhat recovered to 130K USD by the end of June. Active users showed a peak of 5.8M in early May, followed by a general decline to just under 5M by the quarter's end.
