In the second quarter of 2024, the UK's mobile gaming enthusiasts have shown consistent engagement with physics puzzle games. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top five games in this genre.
Screw Jam by Rollic Games experienced a steady increase in revenue, peaking at nearly $89K, with weekly active users reaching a high of 47K towards the end of the quarter. However, downloads showed a declining trend, dropping to around 15K by the quarter's end.
Rovio Entertainment Oyj's Angry Birds 2 maintained a revenue range between $39K and $46K, while downloads saw a slight uptick in June after a gradual decline. Weekly active users remained robust, with over 142K in the last week of June.
Wood Nuts & Bolts Puzzle by ABIGAMES PTE. LTD saw revenues fluctuate, ending the quarter with around $17K. Downloads in the UK began strong at 43K but dipped to 16K, while the weekly active users showcased impressive stability, hovering around 338K.
Another title from Rovio, Angry Birds Friends, showed a revenue pattern ranging from $15K to $18K, with weekly active users peaking at 15K in late June. The game's downloads had a mid-quarter spike but ended with a slight rise at nearly 3K.
Lastly, SAD PUPPY's Lemmings: Strategy & Puzzle generated revenues between $6.5K and $9.4K. The game's downloads and active users showed minimal variation, ending the quarter with around 1K downloads and 8.3K active users.
