The second quarter of 2024 has seen interesting trends for shooter games in the UK. Here, we take a look at the performance of the top five shooter games, as tracked by Sensor Tower.
Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile started strong post-release with downloads peaking at 99K in the first week of April and then gradually declining to 7.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 161K and dipping to 89K. Revenue exhibited a downward trend from 34K USD in the first week of April to 6K USD by late June.
Call of Duty®: Mobile showed more stability in revenue, maintaining over 100K USD per week, peaking at 167K USD in late May. Downloads saw a slight uptick from 12K to 16K over the quarter, while weekly active users started at 307K and saw a slight decrease to 234K.
PUBG MOBILE had a high revenue start at 268K USD in the first week of April, decreasing to 134K USD by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated mildly, with a low of 11.4K and a high of 15.7K. Active users experienced a dip from 297K to 267K in the same period.
Free Fire: 7th Anniversary saw its revenue move in a wave-like pattern, starting at 24.6K USD and ending at 16.1K USD. Downloads reached a peak of 19.5K in mid-April before settling around 17K towards the end. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, hovering around 190K throughout the quarter.
Camo Sniper, despite its revenue being negligible, maintained a steady presence in downloads, starting at 12.7K and ending at 10.1K. Weekly active users saw a peak at 87K in late April and ended the quarter with 76K.
