In the second quarter of 2024, the top five shopping applications in Australia showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at about 158K in late April. The app experienced a slight dip in early June to 108K, but rebounded to approximately 152K by the end of the month. Active user numbers demonstrated consistent growth, starting at around 2M in early April and rising steadily to over 2.4M by the end of June.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced fluctuations in downloads throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at 51K in late April and saw a low of 37K towards the end of June. Active users exhibited an upward trend, beginning at 820K and closing the quarter at approximately 886K.

Everyday Rewards showed notable growth in downloads, starting at 38K in early April and reaching a high of 67K by the end of June. Active users, however, remained relatively stable with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 961K.

flybuys maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads ranging between 24K and 30K. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at 547K and ending at approximately 570K.

Shop: All your favorite brands also saw consistent download numbers, peaking at 32K in mid-June. Active users slightly decreased from 273K in early April to 252K by the end of June.
