Sensor Tower's data for the second quarter of 2024 presents an interesting overview of the top 5 shopping applications' performance on the unified platform. Here are the trends observed for each app:
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in downloads, starting at 27K in the first week of April and soaring to 276K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, beginning at 100K and escalating to a robust 537K.
The AliExpress Shopping App experienced a fluctuating download pattern, with an initial 69K that dipped to 33K and then rose back to 47K. Weekly active users started strong at 1.87M, saw a slight decline mid-quarter, but managed to climb back up to 1.85M towards the end of June.
OLX.ua - Работа и Недвижимость downloads began at 43K, dipped to 26K in May, and rebounded to 44K by late June. The app's weekly active users demonstrated stability, hovering around 1.55M throughout the quarter.
Joom. Shopping for every day. downloads peaked at 44K in the first week of April, then gradually decreased to 18K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 431K and settling at 396K.
Lastly, Reserved had a unique trajectory with downloads spiking to 111K in early May, followed by a decrease to 11K towards June's end. Active users saw a sharp rise from under 1K to over 88K in May, then stabilized around 63K.
