In the second quarter of 2024, the top social networking applications in Serbia have shown varied performance in terms of downloads and revenue. Data sourced from Sensor Tower reveals interesting insights into how these apps are faring on a unified platform.
Telegram Messenger demonstrated a consistent revenue growth, starting at approximately $639 in early April and peaking at around $992 by late June. The app's weekly downloads saw a general decline initially, dropping from 11.6K to 8.5K, before rebounding to reach 10.7K by the end of the quarter.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat maintained steady weekly revenue, with a notable increase from $833 at the start of April to $1.0K by late June. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 195 and 299 throughout the quarter.
imo-International Calls & Chat experienced a more turbulent quarter. Revenue peaked at $502 in mid-April but generally trended downward, ending at around $26 by late June. Downloads, however, saw a significant boost from 333 in early April to 567 by the end of May, before stabilizing at around 344 towards the end of the quarter.
Rakuten Viber Messenger showed strong performance with revenue growing from $587 in early April to $1.1K by late June. Downloads were robust, starting at 15.5K and although they saw some dips, they ended on a high note at approximately 14.6K.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative also saw positive trends, with revenue increasing from $284 at the start of April to $584 by the end of June. Downloads mirrored this positive trend, growing from 3.4K to 4.1K over the quarter.
