In the second quarter of 2024, the UK’s top sports games on the unified platform showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and user activity. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at these metrics.
EA SPORTS FC™: UEFA EURO 2024™ maintained a strong performance with weekly active users peaking at 925K in mid-June. Downloads remained fairly consistent, hovering around 28K to 30K, while revenue saw a notable spike to $234K in the final week of April and last week of May.
8 Ball Pool™ experienced a gradual decline in revenue, starting the quarter at $125K and dipping to $110K by the end. Downloads showed a slight decrease with initial figures around 34K dropping to below 30K. The game's active users saw a drop from 791K to 711K over the three-month period.
Soccer Superstar presented modest revenue figures, never exceeding $1K in any given week. The game did, however, see a rise in downloads, from 21K in early April to over 30K by the end of June. Weekly active users also increased, starting at 173K and reaching 238K by the quarter's close.
Football Manager 2024 Mobile showed a steady number of weekly active users, maintaining around 175K to 185K throughout the quarter. Downloads had a slight decline from 18K to 11K. Revenue for the game remained modest, fluctuating between $3K and $4.5K weekly.
Lastly, Head Ball 2 - Soccer Game which is published by a UK-based company, saw its revenue grow from $6K to $6.7K over the quarter. Downloads had a substantial increase in late May, reaching 19K. The game's active users had a significant surge peaking at 117K in mid-June.
