In the second quarter of 2024, the world of virtual tennis saw a diverse range of performances among the top tennis gaming apps on unified platforms. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the download numbers, revenue, and weekly active users for these leading games.
Tennis Clash: Multiplayer Game, published by Wildlife Studios, maintained robust engagement with weekly active users peaking at 7.8K in late May. Downloads hit a high point of 876K in the same month, while revenue showed a notable peak of $2.8M in the week of May 20th.
Helium9 Games' Tennis Arena experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching 368K in mid-June, and weekly active users grew to a high of 978 in the same period. Revenue, however, remained modest with the highest weekly revenue at $61 in mid-May.
Mini Tennis: Perfect Smash by Miniclip.com saw a spike in downloads to 431K at the end of May, with active users reaching a peak of 6.8K in the same week. Revenue for this title showed variability, with a notable increase to $31 in early June.
Despite not generating any revenue, 3D Tennis from Mouse Games had a consistent presence in terms of downloads and active users. Downloads hovered around 60K weekly, with a slight uptick in active users to 121 in early June.
SEGA's Virtua Tennis Challenge showed low numbers across the board. Downloads peaked at 26K in late June, and active users capped at 55 in late April. Revenue for the game remained under $10 each week.
