During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 train games in Romania experienced diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here, we break down the performance of each game based on data from Sensor Tower.
Train Miner: Idle Railway Game from CASUAL AZUR GAMES showed an interesting trend in revenue towards the end of the quarter, starting from $0 and reaching approximately $62 by mid-June. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of around 2.2K in mid-April, declining to about 681 by the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at roughly 8.7K in mid-April, with a moderate decrease to around 8K by the quarter's end.
Train Ramp Jumping by BoomBit Games had minimal revenue, peaking at $1 in mid-May. Downloads saw an initial surge, reaching approximately 1.9K in mid-April, but dropped to around 335 by late June. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at about 3.6K in late April before decreasing to around 1.7K by the end of the quarter.
Railway Train Simulator Games from GamePark did not generate revenue. Downloads peaked at around 1.2K in early April, declining to approximately 692 by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a high of roughly 6.3K at the beginning of the quarter, dipping to around 5.2K by the end of June.
Train Station 2: Rail Tycoon by Pixel Federation Games experienced notable revenue fluctuations, starting at about $895 in early April and peaking at approximately $1.7K by the second week. Downloads were highest in mid-April at around 874, dropping to roughly 160 by the end of June. Active users peaked at about 5.8K in mid-April, with a decrease to approximately 3K by the quarter’s end.
Finally, Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks from Budge Studios showed steady revenue growth, peaking at around $124 in late May. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a high of about 465 in mid-May and a low of around 277 by the end of June. Active users saw a consistent trend, peaking at approximately 1.5K in early April and ending the quarter at around 1.1K.
