In Q2 2024, the top 5 travel applications in Romania showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared:
Bolt: Request a Ride by BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU saw a positive trend in weekly downloads, starting at 20.6K in early April and peaking at 29.1K by mid-June. The app maintained a consistent number of weekly active users, fluctuating around the 200K mark, with a slight dip to 179K in late April but rebounding to 210K by the end of June.
MOL Move from MOL ROMANIA PETROLEUM PRODUCTS SRL experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 42K in early April to a low of 10.9K by early June, before slightly recovering to 17K by the end of the quarter. Unfortunately, data on active users was not available for this app.
Uber - Request a ride by Uber Technologies, Inc. demonstrated steady weekly download growth, beginning at 10.2K in early April and reaching 16.5K by mid-June. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users, starting at 116K and peaking at 143K by mid-June.

Wizz Air - Book Flights by Wizz Air Hungary Ltd. showed stable weekly downloads, starting at 6.6K in early April and ending at 7.4K in late June. Weekly active users remained consistent, starting at 31.6K and ending at 32.3K by the end of the quarter.
