In the third quarter of 2024, the top auto applications on the Android platform in Egypt showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active user engagement. According to Sensor Tower data, these insights provide a glimpse into the popularity and user interaction with these apps.
Hatla2ee - New and used cars maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 8.3K in mid-August before gradually declining to around 5.6K by the end of September. The app's active user base started at over 101K in early July, saw a peak of about 103K in mid-August, and then experienced a slight decline to approximately 95.5K by the end of the quarter.
Contactcars saw a consistent trend in weekly downloads, beginning with 3.1K in early July and reaching a high of 4.5K by the end of the month. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 30.6K and ending the quarter with around 31.6K, with a notable increase in mid-September.
AutoMobile had a mixed performance in terms of downloads. Starting with a modest 336 downloads in early July, it peaked with over 2.4K in early September before dropping significantly to 161 by the end of the quarter. Unfortunately, no data was available for active users.
Abaza Auto Trading experienced relatively stable download numbers, beginning at 1.3K in early July and fluctuating around this figure throughout the quarter, ending at 1.1K. Active user data was not available for this app.
AutoClub showed a significant spike in downloads in mid-August, reaching 5.4K, after starting with just 184 downloads in early July. However, the numbers stabilized to around 1.3K by the end of September. Active user data was not provided.
