In the third quarter of 2024, the beauty retail app market on Android in Peru displayed varied performance trends, as captured by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category.
Natura Latam from Natura &Co saw a moderate fluctuation in downloads, peaking at around 11K in the week of July 22 and closing the quarter with approximately 6.2K downloads in the last week of September. The app maintained a solid base of weekly active users, which grew from 15K at the start of July to about 25K by the end of September.
Oriflame, developed by Oriflame Cosmetics AG, experienced a steady download rate with a slight dip mid-quarter. Downloads ranged from about 4.4K to 5.9K in July, tapering off to around 3K in early September before rising again to approximately 4.7K by the end of the month. Weekly active users increased consistently, starting at 22K in early July and reaching close to 27K by the end of September.
JOLSE displayed a varied download trend, beginning with 1.4K downloads in early July and peaking at 2.9K in the week of July 22. The app concluded September with nearly 1.9K downloads. Unfortunately, there is no available data for weekly active users for this app during the quarter.
OLIVEYOUNG GLOBAL from CJ Olive Young Corporation had a modest download performance, peaking at 1.2K in mid-July and ending the quarter with around 640 downloads. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, starting around 1.8K and closing the quarter at approximately 2.1K.
Lastly, Pixi Beauty had a relatively low download count, with numbers ranging from 523 to 1K in July, and a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, closing with almost 500 downloads in the last week of September. Weekly active user data was not available for this app.
