In the third quarter of 2024, the top communication apps on the Android platform in Hungary demonstrated varied performance trends, with data insights courtesy of Sensor Tower.
Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out from Discord Inc. saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $2.7K at the beginning of July and peaking at $3.6K in the second week of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.9K per week, while weekly active users hovered around 280K to 290K, with a noticeable increase towards the end of September.
likner - Chat without pictures by UNDECAGON, experienced its highest weekly downloads in late July, reaching over 11K, before declining to around 4.7K by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $2.6K in early August, showing a decline to $1.8K by the end of the quarter.
Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, rising from $449 to $1.5K by the end of September. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 4K to 5K weekly, while active users slightly increased to approximately 147K by the quarter's end.
Snapchat by Snap Inc experienced a gradual rise in weekly revenue, starting at $675 and reaching over $1K in late September. Downloads saw a decline from 6.1K in early August to approximately 4K by the end of the quarter. Active users, however, remained relatively stable around 640K.
Rakuten Viber Messenger by Viber Media showed a steady increase in revenue, with a peak of $918 in mid-September. Downloads remained stable around 4.9K to 5K, while active users decreased slightly from over 1.8M in July to about 1.9M by the end of September.
