During the third quarter of 2024, the top five dating apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom displayed varied performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date from Bumble Holding Limited saw its weekly revenue peaking at approximately $242K in mid-August. However, by the end of September, revenue had decreased to around $193K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting the quarter with 10.5K downloads and ending with approximately 9.9K. The app maintained a strong active user base, ranging from 355K to 405K throughout the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date by Tinder LLC experienced a peak in weekly revenue in mid-August with approximately $304K. The app's downloads reached a high of 15.6K in late July but later settled to around 8.4K by the end of September. Its active user count slightly decreased over the quarter, moving from 357K to 336K.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Date from Hinge, Inc. demonstrated a consistent revenue trend, peaking at $159K in early September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 7.3K and 9.2K. The app's active user numbers showed a slight decline from 347K to 345K by the end of the quarter.
Yubo: Make new friends by Twelve APP had a steady revenue flow, peaking at $24K in late September. Downloads started at 6.7K in July and decreased to 5.3K by the end of September. The active user count remained fairly constant, closing the quarter at around 34.8K.
Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date from Badoo saw its revenue peak at $74K in mid-September. Downloads began at 7.3K and gradually declined to 4.8K by the end of the quarter. The app's active users decreased from 289K to 272K over the same period.
