In the third quarter of 2024, the dinosaur-themed gaming market on Android in Latin America showcased diverse performance trends among the top five applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games demonstrated varying patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Dino Transform Robot Games saw fluctuating weekly downloads, with a peak of approximately 77K in late July, followed by a decline to about 20K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from around 188K to 129K over the quarter.
Merge Dinosaurs Battle Fight experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 67K in mid-July to 14K by the end of September. Despite this, it maintained a relatively stable active user base, starting at 248K and ending at 169K. The game generated modest weekly revenue, peaking at $71 in early September.
Jurassic World™: The Game from Jam City, Inc. exhibited a consistent weekly revenue stream, hovering around $9K, with slight fluctuations. Downloads showed a volatile pattern, with a notable spike to 72K in mid-August, while active users started at 167K and concluded the quarter at 126K.
ARK: Survival Evolved achieved steady weekly revenue, ranging from $3K to $6K. Downloads consistently declined from 61K in early July to 12K by late August. Active users also decreased significantly, from 242K to 84K by the quarter's end.
Lastly, Merge Master: Dinosaur Monster showed stable weekly downloads in the 60K range early in the quarter, dropping to 16K towards the end. Active users decreased from 276K to 167K, while revenue remained minimal, peaking at $65 in late July.
