State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2024, Mexico's Android market for food and drink apps saw significant activity, as monitored by Sensor Tower. The top five applications, namely Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery, DiDi Food: Express Delivery, Uber Eats: Food Delivery, McDonald's Offers and Delivery, and Domino's Pizza México, showed diverse patterns in terms of downloads and active user engagement.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting at approximately 64K downloads per week and peaking at about 87K in early July. The active users for Rappi hovered around 1M, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.
DiDi Food: Express Delivery maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a peak of 75K downloads in early September. Active users showed some variation, beginning at around 1.34M and closing the quarter slightly lower at 1.25M.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery had a varied download performance, with a notable peak of 92K downloads in late July. Active user numbers were consistent, averaging around 620K throughout the quarter.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw an interesting spike in downloads in mid-August with 134K, while active users reached a high of 449K during the same period before declining towards the end of the quarter.
Domino's Pizza México showed a moderate download pattern, peaking at 38K in late July. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 141K in late September.
