In the third quarter of 2024, the Food and Drink app category on the Android platform in Saudi Arabia showcased dynamic trends in user engagement and downloads, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Ninja - نينجا experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 38K in early July and peaking at around 115K by the end of August. The weekly active users mirrored this upward trend, growing from 134K at the beginning of the quarter to a high of 224K in late August, before settling at 139K by the end of September.
HungerStation maintained a consistent download rate ranging between 27K and 39K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users displayed a slight fluctuation, starting at 680K and ending the quarter with a similar figure, despite a temporary dip to 591K in August.
Jahez saw weekly downloads in the range of 11K to 16K, with active users hovering around 100K. The app's active user count showed resilience, ending the quarter with approximately 106K, reflecting a stable user base.
ALBAIK encountered a surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter, starting with around 13K in July and hitting a peak of 29K in late September. Active user numbers also increased significantly from 45K to 64K within the same period.
ToYou: Fast Delivery Service experienced a decline in downloads from 21K in July to about 7K by the end of September. However, active users showed a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, closing at approximately 78K.
