During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top food delivery apps in Hungary on the Android platform displayed varied trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.4K in early July and peaking at around 4.6K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users showed a fluctuating trend, beginning with about 52.4K users and reaching up to 56.1K by the end of the quarter.
For foodora - Food & Groceries, weekly downloads experienced slight variations, maintaining a range between 3.2K and 4K throughout the quarter. Active users slightly decreased from 58.9K to 51.8K by the end of September.
The app foodora: Food & Groceries saw a significant increase in downloads, particularly in the last week of September, where downloads surged to 37.7K. Active users also rose sharply, ending the quarter with 42.9K users, marking a substantial growth from just 32 users at the start of the reporting period.
Wolt Courier Partner experienced a gradual rise in downloads, reaching a high of 1.2K in late August. The active user base was relatively stable, maintaining around 13K to 16K users throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Kifli.hu had consistent download numbers, ranging from 398 to 693 downloads weekly. Unfortunately, no data for active users was available for this app.
