In the third quarter of 2024, the European market for gacha games on Android saw notable trends among its top performers, according to Sensor Tower data.
Last War:Survival Game by First Fun displayed a dynamic quarter. The game began with weekly revenue of approximately $1.4M, peaking at around $2.5M by the end of July, then fluctuating with a notable rise to $2.4M in mid-September. Downloads showed a similar pattern, starting at 239K, peaking at 337K in late July, and settling at 279K by quarter's end. Weekly active users grew from 1.25M to 1.75M, indicating increased engagement.
Whiteout Survival from Century Games PTE. LTD. maintained steady revenue, starting around $1.2M and reaching $1.5M in early September. It experienced a significant rise in downloads, beginning at 151K and peaking at 293K in early September. The game's active users increased steadily from 702K to over 1M, highlighting its growing popularity.
Doomsday: B.Duck by IGG.COM experienced stable revenue, hovering around $200K to $250K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a gradual decline from 172K to 146K, while weekly active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly around the 550K mark.
Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer from Masomo Gaming showed a decline in both downloads and active users. Revenue started at $51K, dipping to $37K by early September, before recovering slightly to $40K. Downloads decreased from 194K to 109K, and active users dropped from 1.7M to 1M, reflecting waning interest.
Finally, 8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com presented a stable performance. Revenue fluctuated between $98K and $126K, with a peak at $126K in late August. Downloads were inconsistent, starting at 111K, peaking at 143K in late September, and active users remained steady around 1.4M, demonstrating consistent engagement.
