In the third quarter of 2024, the top medical applications on the Android platform in the United States showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.
MyChart experienced a stable trajectory in terms of downloads, with figures ranging from approximately 49K to 65K weekly. Active user numbers remained robust, fluctuating slightly between 1.12M and 1.22M, closing the quarter on a high note.
GoodRx: Prescription Coupons saw weekly downloads ranging from around 32K to nearly 39K. Active user engagement showed a modest increase toward the end of the quarter, with numbers climbing from approximately 157K to about 170K.
UnitedHealthcare displayed an upward trend in downloads, peaking at close to 46K by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar pattern, with a noticeable increase from around 98K to nearly 118K by late September.
Teladoc Health: Virtual care maintained a steady rise in downloads, starting from approximately 17K and reaching up to 27K. Active users hovered around the 36K to 41K mark, showing consistent engagement throughout the quarter.
Finally, APPatient saw its weekly downloads increase from about 13K to over 23K by the quarter's end. Active users consistently grew, reaching a peak of approximately 67K.
