In the third quarter of 2024, the leading Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) apps on the Android platform in South America demonstrated varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of these top apps, highlighting their popularity and financial success in the region.
Brawl Stars from Supercell showed a dynamic performance with its weekly revenue peaking at approximately $329K in early September. Downloads surged to 356K in the same period, while active users saw a consistent rise, reaching over 11M by the end of September.
League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games experienced steady revenue, with a high of $116K in the last week of September. Weekly downloads hovered around 35K, and active users remained stable, fluctuating around 470K throughout the quarter.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton noted a gradual decline in weekly revenue from $106K at the start of July, reaching a low of $46K by mid-August, before rebounding to $91K at the end of September. Downloads varied, peaking at 116K in late July, while active users maintained a steady presence around 1.4M.
Squad Busters, another Supercell title, witnessed a decline in revenue, starting at $72K in early July and dropping to $27K in early September, before recovering to $44K by the end of the quarter. Downloads began at 248K and decreased significantly, stabilizing at around 60K in late September, with active users following a similar trend, ending the quarter with approximately 271K.
Honor of Kings from Level Infinite recorded a steady decrease in downloads from 345K in early July to about 16K at the end of September. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $50K at the beginning of the quarter and tapering off to $33K by September's end. Active users experienced a decline, starting at 1.1M in July and reducing to 825K by the quarter's close.
