In the third quarter of 2024, the top personal finance apps on the Android platform in Spain demonstrated notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at the performance of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker by BudgetBakers saw a stable revenue trajectory, peaking at around $482 in mid-September. The app's weekly downloads increased significantly mid-quarter, reaching 348 in late August, while active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining a range between 2.6K to 3.1K throughout the quarter.
Splitwise experienced a consistent revenue stream, with a peak of $479 in early September. Its downloads decreased over the quarter, starting from 8K at the beginning and settling around 3.8K by the end of September. The app's active users showed a decline, falling from 31.6K in early July to 26K by the end of the quarter.
1Money: expense tracker budget demonstrated a varied revenue pattern, with a high of $471 in early September. Downloads saw a modest increase towards the end of August, reaching 163. Active users fluctuated, with numbers ranging from 1.6K to 2.1K over the quarter.
Monefy - Budget & Expenses app from Reflective Technologies had a revenue peak of $474 in late August. Its downloads peaked at 478 during the same period, while active users remained relatively steady, with a slight uptick in late September ending at 3.4K.
Lastly, Spendee Budget & Money Tracker showed an upward trend in revenue, peaking at $484 in early September. Downloads increased towards the end of August, reaching 142, while active users remained consistent, with a slight rise towards the quarter's end, peaking at 410.
